I stopped by last week to see the bridal show at Mountain Gate Country Club in the Brentwood part of Los Angeles. They had some beautiful set ups there for a wedding and some of the best vendors out there had their wares on display. Even a live band was playing. My favorite tasty snack, Fry Girl, was on hand with her yummy mini donuts. I also had a chance to sample some chocolate dipped goodies by Dipped in Chocolate.

I’m posting a few of my favorite shots of the day. These were all taken by me with my regular old camera so you won’t see anything spectacular with my photography. I leave that to the experts. My photos are all of the outside set up because the inside, frankly, wasn’t really much to talk about. It was also really dark so nothing would have come out anyhow.

I love the bold use of red and black in one of the set ups. For those of us who get the feeling of love when they see red, this would be a perfect combination for your red themed weddings. I also loved the silver and white, because it evoked a sense of sleek, modern, and clean look to the event. The flowers were over the top and awesome. I am a flower lover myself so seeing the use of flowers in so many ways was just breathtaking.

The venue itself was tucked away and mostly known around the area because of its golf and tennis private memberships. I was told by the event planners that the calendar is open to the public for their special events, and even the members don’t get preferred treatment for dates. Some other clubs around here are more strict. I think that I would love to work at this site mostly for its outdoor setting. There were pretty white paper lanterns strung all over the in the sky, and I’m imagining how nice it would look after dark.
