Roxanne celebrated her milestone 40th with a big bang! She decided to host a casual party with her family and close friends at a private residence in Redondo Beach. It was tons of fun! For the party, we had a mexican theme with catering by a taqueria, ice cold beer, and frozen margaritas.
On the taqueria menu we had tacos with carne asada, al pastor, and chicken. The catering company brought all the fixings too! It was authentic food and presentation, complete with the flimsy paper plates that was reminiscent of my days in Guadalajara. Delicious onion, cilantro, and homemade salsas were a HUGE hit! People kept going back to the taco stand to get more. You know you have delicious food when people are going back for multiple trips.
For delicious drinks, we had made to order blended margaritas, margaritas on the rocks, sangria, and ice cold beer. The margaritas were a lot of fun because people could get their margaritas freshly blended from one of our blending stations.
In lieu of cake, the birthday girl opted for freshly baked cookies by yours truly. We used the available oven in the residence. Nothing like fresh and warm chocolate chip cookies to complete your meal. Those were snatched up so fast, we ran out of several dozen cookies! Also, we set up a root beer float station for the kiddies, which was actually just as popular with the adults.
Cute potted plants (for the adults) and a halloween bucket of games and stickers (for the kids) were given as party favors.
Happy birthday Rox! I hope that you had a blast at your party. I know I was glad to be there for this special event!

A heartfelt thank you for coordinating my 40th birthday party. I had a wonderful time and it was great to see family and friends.
A huge credit to you for making that happen, as all I needed to do was relax and enjoy the day. Your professionalism and flexibility was key in making it all possible. I really appreciate how you understood what was important to me and how to make it happen. It was the perfect blend of fun and festivities. I can’t imagine having the party without your help.
