Rich Fall Colors

Fall is really my favorite season. We were lucky growing up in New England with the change of seasons every year. I loved the rich fall colors, the smell and feel of the cooler sometimes brisk air, and the piles of beautifully colored leaves.

This is also a great time to incorporate fall colors and materials into your wedding details.

I love this bouquet of deep pink flowers with a matching pink velvet wrap. Its so luscious and warms you right up thinking about holding this bouquet down the aisle. You can even incorporate these elements into your decor. I love the backdrop of the chair with the paisley looking pattern.

I also love the orange as a main color for the fall. Without looking too pumpkin-y, the orange can work beautifully with pink, green, even silver or black. This will give you a complete modern look and using the bold colors will really make the bright color pop and stand out.

Green is another one of those colors that will work so well in the fall. It can be a background and foreground color. For all of you brides looking for a green wedding, whats better than actually putting the green color into your palette? For greens think about incorporating bamboo, green velvet, or little green sparklies.

Even Wildflower Linen’s owner Youngsong Martin likes the color green for this year and next year.

Black and White is another one of my favorites. You can look at my photos from the Wedding Salon show below. You can use black and white year round really, but its just so fitting for the fall season. Patterns in black and white against a bold color (bright pink or orange) will look sharp.

Again, this fall will be so rich with bold colors and modern combinations. It will be luxurious!
